The scripture tells us (Romans 7:6) that we no longer serve God in an "oldness of the letter" but rather in a "newness of the Spirit".  What does this mean? - Walking In The Spirit: Newness of Spirit.

What does walking in the spirit look like? Eventually, it looks like trust. But as we find in Romans 10, before we trust, we have to listen. We must hear the word of God to tune ourselves to the ways of the Holy Spirit. Once our spirit is filled, we find another step in Ephesians 5: speaking and singing. We see in Romans 7, the struggle a man willing to do right in his own power and continually losing. Eventually he cries out, "Who will deliver me from this body of death?" He finds his answer. The scripture tells us (1 Peter 3:15) to be ready to give an answer for the hope that is within us.  We're also told that the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy (Revelation 19:10).  If you're a Christian then your story has the testimony of Jesus Christ.  Your story is anointed! - Knowing Your Own Story.

The scripture repeatedly describes the Lord as a Good Shepherd who tenderly cares for His sheep.  One of the ways that He cares for them is by leading them beside the still waters - Still Waters.

God's Word (Ephesians 6:16) instructs us to "raise the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil." This is an amazing promise but what does it look like in "real life" to raise the Shield of Faith? - Raising The Shield of Faith.

The Lord spoke this Word to the prophet Zechariah (4:10) as the temple was getting rebuilt, "Do not despise these small beginnings, for the LORD rejoices to see the work begin, to see the plumb line in Zerubbabel’s hand.” This is a powerful reminder that God values the preparation time that takes place in us before we walk out those good works that He's prepared for us (Ephesians 2:10) - Preparation Time.

As we visit the Christmas story we see an amazing event.  Wise men from the East followed a star that led them all the way to Jesus.  Once they saw Him they fell down and worshipped!  Clearly, they saw something much more than a small child - The Glory & Majesty Of Jesus Christ.

When Christ was born into this world there came with Him an angelic proclamation (Luke 2:10-11), "I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord." Our Christmas season can be one of great joy - Savoring The Christmas Season.

The Bible tells us (Hebrews 11:1) that faith is the substance of things hoped for and the "evidence" of things not seen. In a mystery, we typically think of "evidence" as clues we can piece together to help us understand an event that we didn't see with our eyes.
