Philippians 4:4 states, "Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!" How do we do this? - Rejoice In The Lord Always.

Is there really a devil? Can we resist him? The scripture states (1 Peter 5:8-9), "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. The Apostles Paul (Ephesians 6:12), Peter (1 Peter 5:8), and James (James 4:7) let us know that we are engaged in a very real spiritual warfare. James gives us a great guideline, "Submit to God. The scripture clearly states (Romans 8:18) that the sufferings we're experiencing now cannot even be compared with the future glory that awaits us. However, the scripture does provide several glimpses into this glory. - Glimpses of Glory.

As believers in Jesus Christ, the Word of God gives us guidance about specific areas that we need to pursue. The Apostle Paul declares (1 Timothy 6:11), "But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness."
