The scripture refers to our fallen human nature as the “flesh”. In the book of Galatians, the Apostle Paul provides a list of what the flesh looks like. We typically recognize the things on the top of the list (adultery, fornication, lewdness) and the bottom of the list (murder, drunkenness, revelries) as flesh.
