Prayers for Myanmar

One of the original orphans who has a ministry near our missions partner, sent this list of specific prayer requests for the country of Myanmar, the people in his ministry and for the peaceful people of Myanmar. In addition to these specific needs, please pray that no weapon formed against them will prosper. We pray that the Myanmar church will prosper and that the Word of the Lord will not return void.

Specific requests from our contact:

1. We pray that the people will win this Democracy battle.

2. We don’t want Myanmar people to lose their lives. We pray for protection from evil terrorists who are working as police and military.

3. Myanmar people need help from the UN or any other source to protect themselves from these terrorists, and they need food and other material (basic) needs.

4. We pray that this civil war will be short so that many thousands of civilians will not lose their lives.

5. The people in my church are losing jobs and having problems making a living. Please pray for God’s provision.

6. Please pray for the advancing of the Church, the salvation of souls, even in the midst of these big problems. I pray to God that I can be used to save souls.

Church, we treasure your fervent prayers for our friends and ministry partners in Myanmar. We pray that a PS 91 shield of protection would keep them from all harm and pestilence. Thank you for praying!

Treasure Seekers meets September through May on Wednesday nights 7:00-8:00 pm. This is an exciting time for kids ages 5-12. The night is filled with fun praise songs, skits, games, weekly memory verses, videos and more. The program incorporates fun and instruction in a way that makes learning the bible an exciting adventure for kids.

What a team does at halftime can change the outcome of their game. We can experience a similar change in life when we come off the playing field of life and into Halftime. Study the playbook of God’s winning strategies. Bandage up weak areas. Make adjustments and get with the brotherhood of Christ-like men around us. Change the trajectory of your game. Win as men, husbands, fathers and influencers in life. This is Halftime.

All are invited to come out every Wednesday at 7pm for a time of prayer, encouragement and study of God’s Word. Led by Pastor Ed House, this weekly study and insights shared will further strengthen you in applying the truths and promises found in God’s Word to your daily life. Join us midweek to get refreshed, strengthened and inspired for the rest of your week.

Door of Life Missions Ministry reaches people in Southeast Asia, India, Nepal and others. Our ministry partners provide several missions opportunities each year. Going Global, Inc. ministers to orphans and widows in nine nations. Behrman Ministries ministers in many nations for pastoral training in the 10/40 window. People with interests in orphanage work, children’s ministry, widows ministry, leadership training, music ministry and teaching are encouraged to inquire for upcoming Door of Life and/or partner trips.

About Us

Our Mission

We are here to reach Door County with the love of Jesus. God has called us to help people learn how to walk in daily victory and fulfill their destiny. Door of Life is a warm and welcoming church home where we can come to worship, grow, be strengthened in the presence of God and exalt the name of Jesus.

Nursery for ages 0-5 and a Kid’s Church program for ages 6-12 are available. Come as you are, casual fits right in! We’re excited to have you worship with us in person and online.

Pastor Ed and Julie House are 1992 graduates of Rhema Bible Training Center. Pastor Ed is also a graduate of North Central University (BS Church Business Administration) and Life Christian University (MA Theology). They live in Fish Creek & have 5 children and 2 grandchildren.
