What does walking in the spirit look like? Eventually, it looks like trust. But as we find in Romans 10, before we trust, we have to listen. We must hear the word of God to tune ourselves to the ways of the Holy Spirit. Once our spirit is filled, we find another step in Ephesians 5: speaking and singing. We see in Romans 7, the struggle a man willing to do right in his own power and continually losing. Eventually he cries out, "Who will deliver me from this body of death?" He finds his answer. The scripture tells us (1 Peter 3:15) to be ready to give an answer for the hope that is within us.  We're also told that the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy (Revelation 19:10).  If you're a Christian then your story has the testimony of Jesus Christ.  Your story is anointed! - Knowing Your Own Story.

The scripture repeatedly describes the Lord as a Good Shepherd who tenderly cares for His sheep.  One of the ways that He cares for them is by leading them beside the still waters - Still Waters.

God's Word (Ephesians 6:16) instructs us to "raise the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil." This is an amazing promise but what does it look like in "real life" to raise the Shield of Faith? - Raising The Shield of Faith.

The Lord spoke this Word to the prophet Zechariah (4:10) as the temple was getting rebuilt, "Do not despise these small beginnings, for the LORD rejoices to see the work begin, to see the plumb line in Zerubbabel’s hand.” This is a powerful reminder that God values the preparation time that takes place in us before we walk out those good works that He's prepared for us (Ephesians 2:10) - Preparation Time.
