Paul said that he wanted to know the fellowship of Christ's sufferings (Philippians 3:10). In this message we look at what those sufferings were and what they were not.
Isaiah 26:3 states: "You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You because he trusts in You." God has provided a wonderful "Pathway to Perfect Peace." It's a path that draws us closer to Him.
It's an interesting concept that blood can have a voice. Yet God told Cain that the blood of his brother Abel was was crying out against him. It's good know that there is another blood that speaks on our behalf. According to Hebrews 12:24, the blood of Jesus is "speaking better things than that of Abel." In this message we look at what those "things" are.
Jesus said that He came so that we could have life (in abundance, to the full, until it overflows). Perhaps one of the greatest witnesses for Jesus Christ is when an unbeliever sees a Christian thoroughly enjoying his/her life!
A paradigm shift by definition means: a peaceful interlude punctuated by a violent revolution…and in that revolution…one conceptual world view is replaced by another. In this message we look at three necessary spiritual paradigm shifts.
Temptation is a fact of life. The bible states (Hebrews 4:15) that Jesus was tempted in the same ways that we are. So how do we deal with temptation? What do we do next when we have a desire to compromise our own heart?
Jesus asked His disciples a question: "Who do men say that I am?" This is a question that each one of us must answer.
There is a forceful advancement taking place in the Kingdom of God. It is both internal and external. Each time we bring our thoughts into captivity to the obedience of Christ His kingdom advances. Each time we spread the Gospel of Jesus to another soul His Kingdom advances. It advances within us and around us.
There are times in life when we feel like we are caught in between seasons…almost like a fish out of water. It's during those times of restlessness that God can do some amazing things in our life!
This message is a somewhat humorous look on how "NOT" to receive from God. Interestingly enough the Word of God has some great advice in this area.
